3-4:30 pm: Dominican Bachata Workshop with Roger Wilson at Amorous Dance (1706 Old Towne Road). $30/person

6-8 pm: Sunset Social on Folly Beach (1 Center Street, on the beach near the Tides Hotel, to the right of Folly Pier). No cover for the sunset social.

Amorous Dance (1706 Old Towne Road)

Knowledge of Bachata Basics recommended to succeed in this workshop. This will be a high-energy, all levels workshop introducing Dominican Bachata footwork and partnerwork. Dominican Bachata is fast moving and playful, using fun (but accessible) footwork and movement. We will rotate partners throughout class so you can come solo.

All ticket sales are final. No credits or refunds will be issued for unused tickets. If you have purchased a ticket and are no longer able to attend, you can transfer your ticket to someone else by emailing info@holycitysalsa.com .

When you purchase your ticket, you will be added to the registration list and will give your name at the door, no need to print anything out! 

Wear dance shoes, comfortable clothes and bring water!

Sunset Social on Folly Beach

Saturday August 23rd from 6-8 pm

1 Center Street (Near the Tides Hotel)

No Cover

Feel the sand between your toes and the ocean breeze as you dance to a mix of Salsa, Bachata and more. We will be on the beach near the Tides Hotel (to the right of the Pier).

All ages/levels are welcome. Please be respectful of Folly Beach rules regarding alcohol, pets, litter, plastic bags and staying off the dunes. Paid parking is available at Folly Pier and on the street around the pier.

There’s no cover for just the beach dancing.
