Join us on Thursday, November 20th at Ballroom Dance Charleston (2408 Ashley River Road) from 8:30–10 pm for a special Practice Social!

This event is designed to help bridge the gap between group classes and social dancing. We get it — going to a social “in the wild” can feel intimidating.

The purpose of this Practice Social is to create a welcoming atmosphere where you can meet and mingle with other students while practicing social dancing. We’ll kick off with a group warm-up and a little bit of guided practice with rotation so you can meet other dancers. After that, we’ll play a mix of Salsa and Bachata, and you can social dance. We also have a few games and activities planned throughout the night to keep it fun and interactive!

Instructors will be on hand to answer quick questions — they won’t be teaching full lessons, but if you need help jogging your memory on a move, they can assist. Please be respectful of everyone at the event and don’t monopolize an instructor.

You do not have to be a currently enrolled student to attend, but space IS limited, so buy a ticket if you want to guarantee your spot. Tickets are $15/person. This is not included in group class session tuition.

All ticket sales are final — no credits or refunds will be issued for unused tickets or no-shows.

All levels are welcome including current Salsa Basics students— this event will not include a Beginner lesson so if it’s your first time dancing ever, we recommend taking at least one or two lessons first. More advanced dancers— come and meet the new dancers! Share your love of social dance and pass on your good vibes.
